About the International Summer School
The International Summer School is an online programme (via Microsoft Teams) focusing on various course areas offered at the University.
The programme will consist of academic activities, general sessions on applying to and studying in the UK, and having contact with current students at the University. You will also be able to engage with your peers looking to studying a similar course to you.

Successful completion of the programme will give access to a guaranteed conditional offer subject to conditions.
To take part in the Summer School, a participation fee of £200 is required.
Eligibility and suitability
The International Summer School is open to all international students (as classified by overseas fee status) who will be starting university in September 2027 and who are academically able to study at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø in their chosen subject.
All students must also be able to show evidence of their English proficiency with an IELTS 5.5 overall or an equivalent school qualification.

Guaranteed Conditional Offer
If you complete the International Summer School, including the sessions and activities that are included, you will be guaranteed to receive a conditional offer for a place to study at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø.
This is based on the following conditions:
- you will be applying for university in 2027
- a UCAS application is submitted by the UCAS ‘on time’ deadline for the next entry cycle
- completion of all sections of the UCAS form including the personal statement for the degree you wish to study at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø
- you will be applying to university as an international student (classified by overseas fee status)
Academic criteria:
- you meet the 'essential' academic entry requirements for your chosen course as stated on our course pages
- you must apply for an eligible course for the subject stream you undertook as part of the International Summer School. The list of eligible courses is on this page.
Application process
For your application, you will need to provide details of your school, your predicted grades, any English language qualifications.
If you do not have official predicted grades at this point, please provide the grades which you realistically hope to achieve. These do not need to be official or confirmed by your teachers or school counsellor.
Applications are now open. The deadline for applications is the 30 June 2026.
Decisions will be made as soon as possible throughout the application window and decisions will be communicated no later than 3 July 2026.
If you are successful in gaining a place, you will need to accept your place and pay the £200 participation fee by 10 July 2026.
